Sweet Monday Giveaway - Verse Memory Cards from Whimsical Cards

Hi All!
Welcome to another Sweet Monday giveaway.
The winner of last weeks print of choice from Doodle Graphics is: Erin!
Congrats!

This week, I'm happy to introduce you to another  Christian artist whom I met through Etsy.

Sarah of Whimsical cards is a freelance artist and art teacher in the Denver metro area of Colorado. She works out of her home and creates art alongside her 3 year old daughter, Selah.
5x7 Healing Print
Her Whimsicals drawings came out of the need and desire to create smaller artwork while she and her husband were traveling in Central America in 2007. Before that she focused mainly on large scale oil and mixed media paintings. She packed a supply bag with watercolor pencils, watercolors, markers, glitter pens and drawing pens. She played around with illustrating poems and scripture verses and loved being able to create a finished piece in just a few hours!
Christmas Card... Cute!
All of the cards and products that you see in her shop are created start to finish in her home studio. She starts with the drawing then scans and formats the illustration into card (or other) form. The cards are printed using only the highest quality light-fast ink with an over 300 year album life.

Birthday Calendar
Today, Sarah is giving away:
One set of 15 Verse Memory Cards!

Verse Memory Cards are reproductions of original watercolor, colored pencil and ink illustrations and are printed onto a 3.5" x 5" paper card (similar to an index card).   These cards are perfect to put up around your home, to carry in your purse, use as a bookmark or to give away as encouragement to a friend or loved one.

  3. Wasn't that one of your goals? to focus on scripture memorization? Maybe I'm thinking of someone else. Either way, it's a great giveaway. I like her illustrated verses. They remind me of illuminated manuscripts. :)

  12. I ended up here by accident, and I am in love with your little pocket chart for the character traits. I didn't grow up in a Christian household, and I struggle to find ways to remember to incorporate some of those principles in our learning.

I liked Whimsical Cards on Facebook. I will be doing fan drives on my page soon for other businesses, and I will be sure to send some people her way.

  13. I visited her Etsy page as well, and while I am in awe of some of her notecards and love the fun and practicality of the verse cards, I have to say that her little wooden gift bags are adorable. I know those ones would get passed around and around instead of landing in the trash!

  14. I have purchased the beautiful note cards from Sarah and a few other products. I personally know her and have seen some of her larger pieces of artwork and they are amazing! I can't decide which things I will purchase this Christmas for gifts.
