As most of you know, I took most of July off from blogging.
One of the biggest reasons for the break was to refocus my eyes on the Lord (which then helps the rest of life go back into focus). I'm so thankful that when we ask Him to help us, He does indeed. Later this week I'll share with you what He taught me.
Another reason for my break was to have extra time to come up with new shop ideas. I now have a whole new oilcloth line in my etsy shop with custom Scripture Pillows soon to come. I let people know via my Sweet Floweret facebook page that I will be giving 50% of my profits from etsy purchases this month to an organization (Heavens Family) that is helping to feed brothers and sisters in Africa (I'll write more about that this week as well). My goal is to donate $500 so if you feel so inclined, share my shop with your friends-and/or buy something ;) I'll have a box with my progress on the side of the blog.

...and of course, summer fun with the kids. Here are a few pics of fun things we did.

PS: Did you notice my new blog design? I love it! Lisa over at My Little Buffalo designed the header and a new button for me.
