Transformation, part 2 Etc. Etc. Etc.

Christmas time is here!
View from my computer chair last Saturday...
I love it.  I love buying presents, all of the celebrations, cookies and smells.  I even like looking out the window and seeing snow.  Most of all, I love that Christmas is a celebration of Christ's birth.  Strip away everything else, and think about the LOVE our Heavenly Father had for us that He sent His ONLY Son to this crazy, selfish world.  That just makes my heart want to explode with gratitude and appreciation.
He loves us.  Oh how He loves us.

John 3:17
17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

If you don't know Him, I would challenge you to ask Him to reveal Himself to you today.  Just pray it in your head, or out loud and He'll show Himself real to you. And if you do know Him, I would challenge you to ask Him to reveal Himself to you today.  It's so easy to go through our daily routines and not seek Gods revelations throughout the day.

I needed to hear that, so thanks for "hearing" it with me :)

Christmas parties.  Need a treat to bring?
Try this recipe.  Famous Mint Brownies.  Delicious and perfect seasonal treat.

Made cake pops for the first time this week.  Also a very fun and adorable goody.  They are time consuming but easy and fun to decorate with the kids.  When looking for the recipe, I stumbled upon this site and couldn't believe all of the amazing things that she could do with cake pops.  The site is called Bakerella.  Here are some of my faves...

PS:  Mine were just round balls with some sprinkles.  They looked nothing like this...
